Best place to run a wire from engine bay to cab?
Ihave my power wire to my amp running throught the rubber boot that surrounds the steering shaft. You slit a lil hole in it with your knife and slid the wire on through. from within the cab, you look up while on your driverside floor and BLAMMO! Right there for ya. No grommets needed, nothing redneck about it.
Btw, nothing wrong with rednecks...

It shuts down 4 of the 8 cylinders on the HEMIs to help save gas. It only works if conditions are right (ie going under 70, no load on the engine, cruise set, no steep climbs etc) A lot of people say they hate it because if you have aftermarket exhaust, when MDS kicks in it makes a "not so sweet sound"...almost sounds like a jake brake on an 18wheeler. MDS stands for Multi-displacement System. just go to google or yahoo and search MDS DODGE HEMI and read the articles.
Thanks for all the replies, I'll be taking a look at this tonight (tomorrow?) when I get off work. I'm sure the neighbors will just love me for having my 2 big *** spot lights out at 2 AM.
the best way i know is the throttle cable boot just behind the battery but it is a ****** fuhking pain in the *** to get the wire through it (coat hanger wire hehe)but well worth it so none of ur little critters get into your cab
