Ok, so I have a new (to me) 2002 5.9L SLT single cab. I like it. I like it way better than the other truck I thought I had and wound up not getting. It looks nice overall and rides fine. So what I want is your thoughts on what I want to do to my new truck.

new car alarm (done)
add mp3 aux input(this week)
add subwoofer and amp for more 3D sound (this week)
get a TRUE ram air hood and air box (thinking about ramairhood.com's)
get a paintable grille shell with billet grille
real dual exhaust
leather seats
hydrographics on the radio/ac controls surround
black vinyl racing stripe
nerf bars
soft tonneau
rhino liningbed, wheel wells, and nerf bar
maybe get chrome door handles

Truck is all yours so you can do whatever you want. I like the ideas. That is a big list though. How long will it take you to accomplish all this? Welcome to DF.

 

I say go with a 2 inch shackle in the rear. It would look sick.

 

I agree droppin the back 2 inches would be the very first thing done if it was mine.....

personally, i dont like the chrome handles. but everything else sounds good!!! good luck and welcome!

 

I have a QC 5.9L and thought the CAI and Superchips I put on mine did a nice job of waking her up. An exhaust system sounds awesome on these.

 

+1 for the drop shackles.... then post some pics up so I can decide what I want to do. :-)

 

I say go for the drop and everything else you said besides the racing stripes......
