well, I've never been against lowering full size pickups but I've always been against SLAMMING one...Air bags will be the best way to go, because they will stiffen up the suspension. I want to get some air bags in my truck thats slightly lifted. Since I installed the Hellwig anti-sway bar, I've gotten a lot less body roll on a lifted frame, but as far as lowering go for it. And tex, socal isnt the only place guys lower their trucks...

I am also not a fan of a dropped truck, but everyone has their likes. With that said do not skimp. You do not want to ruin what ride quality you have. A bad drop (or lift)can ride hard and even be dangerous due to handling.

i don't think i would ever slam a ram....a 4/6 drop is prolly the lowest i would ever go...personally, i like the 2/4 thats on my truck and really don't think i'll go lower then that...gotta maintain some usefulness out of it
