Default Ac/Heater not working Fan problem? Help!

Ok, so me and my dad went out to my Ram and started taking it apart to get down to this problem I am having. The cooling/heating system is screwy. It gets hot and cold; defrost works, all the positions work. The only thing that doesn’t is there is very little to no air coming out of ANY of the vents, doesn’t matter if the fan setting is on low to high, you can turn it up more and more, and you can hear the fan blow more and more, but NO air is coming out of any vents. We thought it was a blend door or an actuator. We checked them and they seemed to be working as far as we could tell. But, we noticed when reinstalling the fan, there is an arrow pointing in the direction that the fan should be blowing. So we wanted to make sure it is blowing the right direction. It was not! Could this be my whole problem? Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks a lot for any help!!

Justin

My 04 had problems like that and when the dial was turned to cold, hot air would blow out and vice versa. So I took it in for service they fixed and said it just needed to be recalibrated? Whatever the hell that meant. But only took a couple of hours to fix and never had a problem again.

No, it gets hot when on the hot setting and cold when on the cold setting, its just that there is no or little air coming out of the vents.

Thanks firemedic, My dad figured out how to reverse the fan and now it is working like new! It wasn't a blend door broken! We saved $800 that the stealership was going to charg me!
