i must have missed something, did Dodge add some serious power to the 4.7? last i knew they lacked about 100 hp when compared to the Hemi.

EDIT- of course we will need to see a burnout video when it arrives

 

new 4.7L for 08 has 310 hp and like 335 lb ft of torque. so yea I'll take that and a six speed over a hemi auto anyday.

u'll get a burnout after she's broken in. I will post pics I dunno when it will get here i just know that it's been shipped. but how long can it take to get from st. louis to here?

lol. I just really wanted an 08 I love that body style and man I just can't believe it is soo close i'm just like wiggin out a bit lol. It's a lot to take in I mean i'm 19 and I just bought a 2008 dodge ram I mean god damn this is some ****. working full time and in college sucks but looking at this truck every day I go to go somewhere is gonna be so worth it.

 

how long did it take you to get it? like from when u first ordered i myself just ordered one

 

I ordered at the beginning of march. Like the 5th or something like that. so about two months I'll say till it gets here.

 

ya i got told 6 to 8 weeks but i was hoping it would be faster

 

congrats on the new truck, get some pics posted of that truck when you get it....i'd like to go buy a new truck too, but can't really afford it and i'd hate myself for gettin rid of this truck lol...but i think if i do, i'm gonna wait till 2011 or so...wait till the CTD gets some issues worked out in the 1500 or bite the bullet and get a 2011 Challenger SRT8 with the new hemi

 

yea Hemi I needed a new vehicle tho. I'm going from a bare bones 97 jeep wrangler to this. I can't wait. Pics will def be posted. Barnett you should see what guys getting 08 jeep wranglers are waiting. they are looking at 16-20 weeks min. I was expecting it to take three to four months when i ordered. so i'm happy as a fly in **** that it's gonna be here soon
