Getting an '08 QC 4wd 4.7 6spd...

Really would have likeda whitetruck loaded with options, but there were only 3 6-speeds in existence on the entire West Coast, all Patriot Blue SLT's with no extra equipment. Should be picking it up by middle of this week.
I do have acouple questions about this truck...
What kind of gas mileage can I expect from a 4wd 4.7 with manual transmission? I skimmed the gas-mileage thread, but didn't see any 6spd numbers.
Also willneed to purchase the following items soon...trailer hitch, bed extender, bed liner, & wheel-to-wheel side steps. I am planning to go with OEM, unless there are better parts out there for a reasonable price. Any recommendations?

trailer hitch = no need for oem
bed liner = whatever floats yoru boat. some people like drop-ins, some people like the rhino liner, etc, etc
wheel-to-wheel steps = no need for oem. tons of companies make them.
everything i have, is stainless, off of ebay. no problems with any of it whatsoever.
mileage...not sure, but it isn't too bad, especially on the highway. you'll get the same highway numbers as me, and i'm in the 3.7

What kind of mileage do you get?
trailer hitch - figured oem would be easiest install, and MSRP is reasonable ($111 for hitch, $76 for harness). Would like to go with a stronger hitch if it doesn't cost much more. Will occasionally have to pull heavy equipment at low speeds.
bed liner - OEM retails for $290, how much can I expect to spend on a spray-in?
steps - most likely going OEM with these. I really like the diamond-plate side steps...retail for $508 w/rear section. Haven't come across anything similar as of yet.

well, i guess those oem prices aren't too bad. for the bedliner, that's about how much you'd spend on a bedliner (if not more)
mileage, i get like 16 or 17 in city...and maybe 20-22 on highway.
edit: actually, i don't think i get that much. i dunno. not far off though.

Most of my driving is very short distance, just a few miles each trip and I get 14 mpg, longer highway trips I think 20+ will be likely (I've only taken the truck on one trip of 3 hours driving duration and I was getting 19+ with the on board computer). Keep in mind my truck isn't even broken in yet, I have yet to turn 2K miles. Congradulations on buying a great truck, you'll love this drive train!

I've got an '08 QC 4.7L 6-spd, but mine's 4x2 (it's what they had on the lot near DC - and a small concession to gas mileage). Mine's still stock, I get 17-19 mpg, almost all my driving is highway. 16.5-17when I'm doing errands around town. You might get a bit less than me. I'd like to know - I wonder if I'm doing well or if I stink at driving 'nicely'!

Just a thought....
Maybe consider a Hemi. I bought a new QC Bighorn Hemi 3 weeks ago and drove it from Washington State to Maryland. I hit 4200 on the odo yesterday. Through the rockies into the midwest I pulled 19-21 mpg at 75-80 mph. Once I hit that ethenol crap I got 14-15 mpg at the same speeds. Once out of ethenol country I went back to 20 mpg. In town I get 13-15 mpg but that is with romping on the engine.![Wink](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
More HP + more towing + higher resale = similar fuel economy
