Hey guys.... been a long time...need some help...fuel pump
Hey guys! It has been a while, but I am glad to be back. Since I was last here, I was laid off, but then got my Series 7 (just passed my test yesterday), and am now a financial adviser. Also, I got the headers and exhaust installed, 2" level, and the headlights painted. Now the fuel pump has gone out....
I went to NAPA and got a "replacement" but it seems that it is too big. I have the tank dropped, and the old pump out. It is a bosch replacement...but neither napa nor bosch say what size tank it is for, and I think there was a 35 gallon available in 04 for the qcab...right?
Anyone have any input?

congrats on the 7, have you considered FChFP, that can help as well. never hurts to have an alphabet soup behind your name...
the CPCU for me was a mother F'er,
thought it was 34 gallon, but yea that could be the deal, although dont really see why a lager tank would require a much larger pump....
im sure parts can come up with the magic mopar # you need....

ok....it looks like the Bosch Site and NAPA both have this part number wrong in their systems. It seems that the part number for the 04 with the 26 gal tank wrong. They sold me a 67709 and I belive it should be a 67706...any ideas? Anyone have any expirience with these fuel pumps?
Just got back from Dodge.... Got an OEM pump for only a few dollars more than the WRONG one NAPA gave me, and less than the "correct" one that they were going to order.
At least the Dodge parts guy knew what was going on....
Pump is in, all I have to do is lift the tank and reconnect.

ok...for future reference if you have the 26 gallon tank, do not get the N67709 (get the 67706, i think)from NAPA. I went to dodge and they had the OEM for $255 and no hassle of dealing with Not All Parts Aplicable
