Default the 3rd generation ram go an award

I also seen in TruckTrend magazine over the weekend that the Dodge Ram 1500 was the most overpriced vehicle out there right now. Anybody agree or disagree with this? Also up there on the list was the durango, the f-150, and i cant remember what else.

IMHO, I think "overpriced" is a matter of opinion. I'll only buy Dodge, no matter what price, because IMO, Dodge is the best out there.

I'm not sure about THE most overpriced, but there is no question that the RETAIL PRICE is very overpriced. Think about it, when you need to give rebates on a product in the $8k range before "haggling" another $3-4k off a vehicle, then it's retail price is WAY out of line!
Loaded Hemi4x4's with sticker prices close to $40k are routinely purchased new for $26-28k!!!

I'm really sick of magazines... They seem like they're all idiots these days.

I think they are competative among the 1500's. I have been looking at trucks for a long time now and finally bought one a few weeks ago. My 08 QC Bighorn Hemi 2WD stickered for 34k and I got it for 22k brand new after rebates. 4x4's were 27k. Tundra double cab 5.7L4x4's were stickering for 31k with 3k rebates. Titan QC 4x4's were stickering for 41k with a 2k markup. Ford and Chevy QC's were stickering for 35-40k with no rebates. This was relative to the pacific northwest though and prices fluxuate throughout the country.
