The wing is staying. At least for now. Without the wing it's basically a sport, so ya I'm keeping it.I have to see if it clears my utility trailer (with my camper on it) in a tight turn. I don't want to knock it off. It may end up on and off depending on truck use, but I don't plan on taking it off.

I went for the black rims on my '98 andthen moved them over to the Daytona. Everyone around my area does Chrome. It's almost to the point were the chrome is so common place here it looks factory and I always liked the idea of customizingfor just that, custom,not like everyone else on the block. Again that's just my personal preference and I may decide toswitch back now and then to change things up without having to spend money.

EDIT: The wife makes fun of me because of the wing. She says I must be going through my mid-life crisis.

 

lol. i feel ya on the chrome rims trend. your truck, your rules. looks good both ways. i just have a preference for chrome. any plans for mods?

 

Ya, I'll probably be on the look out for a used superchips, tail lights, headlights (maybe). Asfor other performance mods maybeCAI but probably be readingand searching this section toresearch what I'd like to do when I have a couple bucks to spare.

I'm not in a big rush as performance wise I'm jumping up from 225 hp stock with 3.55 gears to 345 hp and 3.92 gears. It pretty nice performance gain right there. But ya I'll be playing with the new toy. Had the truck one day and I'm on ebay, summit, jegs, LMC truck.

Need to win the lottery, lol.
