Default Side Steps?

I'm trying to decide between these two side steps.

I like the look of trucks with no side steps which is why I'm very interested in the PowerStep.

On the other hand, I like the look of the N-Fab steps quite a bit.

I've had Westin's before and thought they were great, but I'm going for a different look with my new truck.

Any opinions?

It's too high for normal side steps. You need to custom fabricate a set of retractable stairs, instead!

I like the look of a truck without steps but if you have to get the power steps. Mopar also makes single powersteps but I think they are around $600 a piece plus intall. I would do it but cannot justify $1200 plus for steps I'd rather climb in.

Allow me to clarify...

The pic of the truck in the original post is not mine...the huge one! That one has the N-Fab steps if you look closely.

My truck is currently stocker, but will be up 6" on 35x12.50's very soon...this is when I'll be getting the steps (maybe).

FYI...the N-Fabs run about $500 and the PowerStep runs about $1G. This probably changes some opinions.

If it was me footing the bill, it would probably be Westin's again. Otherwise, I like the retractable steps!

other: i like OEM nerfs. but i also love westins. i bought a set of westins for our truck and they look great (in my opinion). i wish i wouldve spent the money on OEM ones. wouldve looked waaay better!! so, i vote for OEM nerfs from the dealer.

To be honest I'm tall as well. I don't mind hopping a little bit to get in. I'm thinking more for others so I don't have to be throwing my dates, wearing heels and dresses/skirts/other,up into my truck all the time(or maybe that's a good thing).

nerfs look better in my opinion. id get them even if you didnt have to. unless your truck is a scraper which weve already established that it isnt going to be. plus, i think that nerfs add that sporty and luxurious touch to the truck. when i see a truck with nerfs, it looks faster (kinda like a ricer seeing JDM stickers on another car then ****s his pants) and looks more luxurious if its a newer truck. me, i like the luxurious look. thats probably why i like the chrome OEM nerfs and big rims, etc... sorry for running off topic there. lol. but id say spend that extra money for a nice set.
