Default Hemi Duals

I have a 2004 QC Ram with a hemi, and I want to have dual exhasut dumped under the truck. My problem is that I want two mufflers, not one, and I can do everything myself except split it into duals. Is there a prefabbed pipe out there, or will I have to take it to an exhaust shop?

ya you can always put on a set of headers, and go from there, but to keep it legal, you need the cats, plus it will throw alot of codes, i installed a duel system last week from the cat back using a flowmaster 40 series muffler and custom bent pipes i wanted to keep the trailer hitch. and spair tire up under the bed and it sound great. headers would be great but the expense is just that very expensive!!hope this helps but good luck on whatever you do.

My buddy has a Hemi truck, and the cats are right on the manifold down pipes, so running true duals would be no problem as far as codes goes. Just have the exhaust shop hack the pipes off before the stock Y pipe, and weld up a true dual system. Spend the extra money on some sort of a cross-over pipe. It helps equalize the flow and build power. That's what I did on my '07 4.7. No codes, no lights, and it sounds badass.

Is there a reason you want two mufflers? If your doing it for just sound, it's often misconcepted that it will be louder. Often times it's actually quiter because there are two mufflers muffling the sound. Personally I think a catback system with either a gutted cat or hi-flow cat is the best. She will bark. Look at my system, it's one muffler, and it's one of the loudest systems I know of.
