Default Will 35" Fit?

I have a '08 Ram 1500 4x4. I put a Ready Lift2.5" leveling kit on the front last weekend. The website says it will clear 35" Tires but I just wanted to check and see what you guys think? I bought some 18x10 Helo Cannons today and was gonna go with 35-12.5-18 tires. I will not be doing any heavy off-roading, what do you guys think? Thanks for the help!!!

MIKE

They handle really well off road and even on pavement! Was really surprised how well they were in the rain! And they were pretty good in the snow as long as I was in 4WD. They are loud! But that turns heads when driving by people! And if loud bothered me I would have bought The Terra Grapplers! They handle really well considering! LOVE THEM!!!!!!!! You will have NO regrets!

I forgot to ask when you PMed me nitto, but what engine do you have? Also what gears are you running? What is your gas mileage as well? I am probably still going to go with the 35's, but everytime I see your truck I can't help but rethink the 37.

Right now I have stock gears, but I am looking at having 4:56 installed so I can tow a camper with no problems! I have the 5.7L with superchips 3815, K&N cia, airaid throttle body spacer, flowmaster 40 series exhaust, My gas mileage is about 12 city 15-16 Hwy.

Im gonna say 35's might not fit with just a leveling kit. Depending on what the offset on the wheel is it might rub. Now if your putting 35's on the stock rim it will probably fit. When they say it will clear 35's usually talking about stock rims.

I helped a friend with an '06 put a level kit (spacers) a while back. While 35's did fit, there is no way you can do any kind of off-roading with them, they were fine for him, but did rub on sharp turns and even going over speed bumps...

I agree with firemedic...The 35's will fit with just a leveling kit if you are using your stock wheels/backspacing. With aftermarket wheels, they are going to rub. I know b/c I just did this last week on my 07 1500 which is the same truck as yours. I have a 2.5 topguncustomz leveling kit, and tried my new 35's on which are also on 18x9.5 wheels and they rubbed on the inner fender when turning. My truck is at the shop right now getting a 3in body lift installed.

ya i wouldnt recomend it. When people say that they will fit without a lift, they may clearthe fender wells but when u go to turn the wheels all the way the tires will rub on your control arms. HOWEVER ive heard that with a leveling kit and a set of wheel spacers you can get them to not rub at all
