Default 8 lug conversion on a 1500?

Ok, the only wheels I can find for my 5x5.5 bolt pattern look too ghetto. All the badass wheels are 8 lug. I really realy really want to run a set of Driv Offroad Devilslide wheels, but they only come in 8x6.5. Is there any sort of non-invasive adapter out there that would let me run 8 lug wheels?

you sure you're not just trying to make it look more like a 1 ton, did you already scrape off the 1500? Cab lights on order?
LOL
unless you want a 19.5 why have you had such a hard time finding a nice 5 lug wheel? Post a link to the wheels you like.

No, I don't care about it looking like a 1 ton. I just really like these wheels:

If there's a way to run an 8 lug wheel, I'll leave the 1500 badges on to mess with people's heads. I really need to quit reading Diesel Power magazine. That's where I saw these wheels. I've found some nice 5x5.5 wheels, like the DC-1s, but everyone has them. There is a much better variety of lifted truck wheels for 8 lug folks.

My 1500's got 8 lug wheels, oh wait, it's a MC Why they even put 1500 on those is beyond me. Why don't you just swap your axle, oh wait, it's a REAL 1500, can't do that, hum.....

Oh yeah, try this:

They only have a 5 to 6 lug and 6 to 8 lug. I doubt I'd want to run 2 adapters... Thanks though.

Now that I think about it, having an adapter in place will mess up the amount of backspace/offset that I need. Right now I know I need around 4.5" BS and around -12mm offset. With an adapter I won't know what the hell I need. I guess I'd be best off sticking with a 5 lug wheel. Anyone know any good brands of off-road look wheels other than the Dick Cepek and 589s? They look good and all, but everyone has them. I know of 4 or 5 rams around here with the DC-1s, and as for the 589s...who DOESN'T have those?

hey michael I wouldnt be bragging about buying a megacab with a hemi, thats just a dumb decision if you ask me, or anyone else. Even had dealers say they dont know why they offered it in a gasser at all. I could maybe see if it was the 6.1 liter and Chrysler decided to put that hemi in their mc's instead of the 5.7.

Btw those wheels look great man.

Yes they do make lug adapters. Just google it and I'm sure you'll get some hits

Ha hemi in a mc. Lmao.
Hope you dont live anywhere hot pal, the ac sucks as it is in my qc.

Yeah, I did a google search and found a company, but they need all kinds of info that exceeds my knowledge. I didn't know that the mega cab came with 8 lugs. I guess that's what MC means. Didn't know wtf he was talking about. Anyway, it's 3:30 AM here and i need to get to bed. Thanks for the input so far.

skulte.com has em, 500 for 4.

Yeah the mc is on a 2500 frame.

Forget the lack of knowledge, go to a tire store that sells 8 lug wheels. Walk in tell them that "these" (whatever 8 lugs they sell) are what you want but you need to buy an adapter, you found a place but this is what they want, have them answer what the co is wanting to know.
