I have the same problem, I understand that it has to do with the resistance or lack there of from the halogen bulb not being there, the computer is disabling power to the socket because of it. I have even ordered the 50watt 6ohm resister from V-LEDS.com and this did not work either. Anyone who knows how to fix this please help.

Run two seperate relay's andpowerdirectly from your battery to the HID ballasts.
Then, tap into the normal side light circuits and feed into the HID'son both sides, to"load up"and trick your computer into thinking your main lights are still there.
Your side light bulbs have more resistance than the HID's, just like the main lights, trickingthe truck computer into accepting the HID's.
I haven't tried this as yet. I'm awaiting better weather.
But, that's what I've read about solving this issue and I'll be hopefully trying it out soon.
Post up if you try it and let us all know.
Hope this helps?
Al.

Im not sure what kit you purchased but you may want to contact them to see if they have a fix to it... I know our Liftime Warranty HID kits have a special harness that fixes the Flickering issue on the 2006-UP Rams. Perhaps the company you purchased them from has a similar fix.

You work for a vendor, who? I am interested in hid's and im curious to know how much they actually improve the rams night vision. I don't know anybody who has them, i wanted halo's but heard they suck- what are the hid's like.

Air Ram has his own business. He spends most of his time over on the "other" Dodge Forum that shall remain nameless..........but they specialize in parts and accessories for our trucks. Check him out.
