I'm tearing out all of the stock sound system this evening and installing the new stuff tomorrow. I want to get the entire Infinity system out and sell it off as a package; however, I'm running into a little trouble with the stock amp.

I removed the glove box and took the Sirus reciever out no problem, but I've removed the 2 10mm bolts holding the amp to the crosstube and can't figure out what else is holding it in. Has anyone removed it before? Is it going to be too much of a pain in the *** to remove? Thanks for any help.

I am in the EXACT same situation....Did you ever get this figured out?? And how did you get that last bolt holding the amp in??

 

Nope, I gave up, figured it was more work that it was worth. The amp is still sitting under my dash, the new Alpine is under my drivers seat now.

 

I figured I would end up having to do that. Thanks though!
