So I wonder if anyone has used them. There is something to be said for combusting all your fuel before it gets to the cat. I wonder how hot the run?

You can get the Pulstars now for like $9.00/each. I had a civic Si back in the day and used them in that....wow. I really could tell a difference in the Throttle response. Their was a little noticeable gain in the acceleration and the MPG on gas. Worth $25.00 at the time? Not so much. Now $9.00? Most deff.

Nearly on every forum website people knocked Pulstar plugs and gave stupid reasons, like the heat range being a problem. ( The HR on the Pulstar plugs was nearly identical to that of the NGK's, Autolite's, E3's, all those common ones) And unless its someone who doesn't do the research on how their engine works, these plugs are a great buy. As long as you don't have and Modifications dealing with the combustion or compression of the engine (turbo charger/ SC etc.) then they work great.
and a company review from sparkplugs.com on the pulstars in a Hemi truck is something to take a look at.

I, and most of the 2nd genners with the 5.9L V8, will disagree with you on the platinum statement. Very few of our engines like the platinum plugs, some run very rough with them.

Iridiums seem to work well, but not worth the price difference, IMO. I and many others like the copper V-power NGK plugs for the 5.9L V8. There is a spark plug thread in the 2nd gen FAQ you should check out, 99% of spark plug opinions for the 5.2L/5.9L V8s can be found in there.

I agree partly with jason..when i bought my truck used the last owner had put in the platinum plugs. That truck ran so bad with those in there. So put the coppers that they recommend in for awhile and ran perfect. But when I redid my plugs, cap and rotor, I put the NGK iridium plugs in there and I love them. Truck runs great and with as many miles as I have on my truck now, they said I should'nt ever have to change them again.

Yea, the NGK and the Denso's are really good as long as you get them in the Iriduim and not the platinum. The copper is always a safe choice but the Iridiums are just better for longevity.(Iridium: denser alloy hence less wear over time)

When I get a little more money I'm gonna throw those Pulstar Iridiums in my 05 Ram Hemi. They make them now in copper, platinum, and iridium but I'd like to see that investment last a while..Iridium it is.
