Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new ride. Yes, I put a Helwig on my truck last fall. Probably the best single performance mod I've done. The truck handles much better than stock. There are some s-curves near my house. Before the Helwig, 'bout the best I could do in those turns without the tires complaining was a bit over 60. Now, the tires don't complain until I get to a bit over 70. The sway bar also improved turn-in and steering response. It's an easy installation. If you decide to get one, take the time to run the nuts all the way onto the u-clamps and the threaded rods before installation using WD-40 to make that easier. For some reason, they don't thread their stuff very well. Be careful around brake lines. Make sure they don't rub or get trapped under the clamps. One more thing, if you plan to get an aftermarket exhaust, do the sway bar FIRST! I had to have my Magnaflows touched up after the swaybar went in.
Thanks for the info.
The only complaint (albiet small) I have is the sway. Just changing lanes on the freeway will cause too much sway...OK I'm a little ham-handed but its a truck! Oh, and this is worse at around 70-80 mph.
Anyway, I was wondering if the sway bar would negate any handling parameters that may have been designed by Dodge. I wouldn't want to prevent some "sway" that Dodge may have intended to keep the truck upright.
Otherwise....luv the hemi!

I also debadged the big "bighorn" thing on the tailgate. In doing so, I screwed up the paint some, as well as some discoloration where the adhesive was.
Any ideas on a descent fix? Maybe some light rubbing-compound?
Thanks
