Default Bully Dog...HELP!

I bought a new Triple Dog Gas downloader and I can not get it to work. I have an 06 Ram and the techs at bully dog have tried a special update and it still would not work. Just wondering if anyone else had any problems. Any help would be really cool.

I'd get your money back and buy something that's been proven to work reliably and consistantly.

What truck do you have exactly?

Thanks for the reply...I have a 06 Ram 5.7L HEMI. What would you recommend if not the Bully Dog?

Is it a half ton? (1500?) That'll make a big difference in what's available.

Yes it is a 1500. I heard some of the other programmers do not work well with cold air intakes? Have you heard that as well?

I have heard that about CAIs, but I don't know how much validity there is to that. I can't recall anyone on here having a problem due to having a chip and a CAI.

A few programmers that you may want to look into:

Don't take my word for it exclusively. I have a Cummins with a chip. Never have actually owned a gasser with a chip. There's a ton of guys on here with chipped Hemi's. Wait for them to chime in too. There'sa wealth of information on these pages if you're patient.

i have the bully dog programmer for my 06 dodge ram 1500 with a hemi and i love it. IT was a little difficult at first to use but when you learn how to install the programs it can be done in about 5 mins. I have got awesome results, i average 21mpg on the interstate, and combined about 17.6. THe power is awesome when set on performance, it is alittle rough on tires from the torque, but all in all it is awesome.

Thanks for the input. What did you do to get it to work. I keep getting errors on the truck side. The techs at Bully Dog have been working on it, but I am just so ready to get it on. Well, if you have any tips, let me know.
