Just Traded My 07 Tundra for a Ram
One area that will be quickly apparent to you with the Ram, fit, finish, quality of assembly is no where close to being last in the pack, my 06 2500 has to the worst truck I have owned with factery paint, fit and finsh.
But the powertrain, drive train is awsome, and the 2500 is just so much better than a Tundra, I whish all the best with your Ram and the asspects of my truck I don't like are easy fixis.

now that i reread your post, i had a grinding problem too!! it had something to do with my muffler grinding. i just didnt remember this from my old ram i had that i traded it. agh, old as in it wasnt newer than the 07. i had an 06 with that problem. dealer fixed it in 5 minutes.
Congrats on making a smart move and dumping the Tundra!

Nice Truck! Yep I've read about that tailgate thing. Toyota makes great CARS, we currently have a toyota camry 160,000mi, and a camry solara they are/run great, but trucks and SUV's not so good. I would only buy an American made SUV or truck.

I switched out the stock muffler with a 40 series flowmaster. It is a 3inch inlet and a single 3 inch outlet. The truck is very loud, but what I don't like is that loud drone sound at 1700-2100 rpms cruising at 60-80 mph. Didn't get rid of that loud noise though. I know they added resinators after the muffler on the newer trucks, maybe this is what the dealer was talking about with the resination noise. I'm going to try to squeeze 315/70/17s on this stock 2500, hopefully they won't rub too bad, looks like they may rub the control arm.
