Default Nitto Terra Grapplers

Anyone running the Terra Grapplers? I just put a set on my truck and after driving on them for a few days am not very happy with them. I feel alot of "road" grabbing with them and my local shop says its because these tires are so flat on top almost like a forklift tire. They said the best street all terrain tire is the BFG. Anyone else have the same compaints with the terra grapplers?

I've had both on my truck and I actually like the Nitto's better. They have better traction in the rain and snow than my BFG's. Not to mention the big difference in price. The BFG's get better tread life though. Just my opinion.

I run them and don't have any problems. Also, they look alot better than the BFG All-Terrain.

i dont know why he did the open country a/t's he should have got the m/t's.

ive read a few magazines saying that the pro comp xtreme a/t is a very good tire. performs well on and off road. said the tread brand new was .62 deep and after 17k miles it was measured at .52

i know a couple guys around here that say they love them, a little rougher than your average a/t though. hammer thinks otherwise on the xtreme a/t's though which confuses me.

but ive pretty much made the decission that im just gonna try them, if they work, great and if they dont work out....ill be trying a new tire.

I have had the Toyo A/T and the Nitto Terra Grappler A/T and I loved the Nitto! They Toyo's were ok but not as good and the nitto! They were the best A/T tire I have ever had! I thought they were way better then the BFG's I once ran on another truck!

will do man. i keep saying im getting them soon but i think it may be another month. $310 a tire[:@]so ill definatly let you guys know when i get them. like i said before, ive been bounced around between decisions and info from others, so im gonna take a gamble on the xtreme a/t's and hopefully it works out.....if it doesnt then i wont be going back to that tire, simply said.

absolutely NO complaints from my Terra Grapplers. Truck drives better than it did with the BS stockies. 305/55/20.
