RE: CAI
the first thing i added to mine was the k&n...it made a difference. a very annoying and loud difference. it might make more power on the dyno...but nothing you'll feel (atleast i didn't). then i added the magnaflow to drown out the intake noise, then i noticed the power difference...a little more get up and go. i'm sure they are both probably needed to make any kind of noticable power, but the intake alone did nothing for me (power or mpg). as far as brands, i only know about what i have....and i wouldn't get it again, i'd go w/ whatever is cheap...but that's just personal preference.

RE: CAI
i got the ebay CAI installed today. i did notcie a difference. not too drastic, but it is a great improvement. it sounds awesome at WOT and is not too loud cruising. i plan on getting exhaust really soon to have the whole package. im sure whichever CAI you get, youll be happy with it.

RE: CAI
I have the Mopar CAI. It sounds great, it takes in a lot more air and my exahaust system is a lot throatier. I sort of felt the difference, but I feel like I'm using more gas than I used to use. I'm not sure if I installed it right or not, but my MPG reads like 8-10. I've read about K&N, I'd probably prefer that over the Mopar intake.

RE: CAI
Your bound to lose MPG since nnow you punch it more to hear the intake thats normal. If you retain your normal driving style before the intake with the intake on MPG improvement are on the horizon.I also just instal the AEM brute force in my CTD and lost 2 MPG,since I florred it alot to hear the turbo noise. But after driving it normal as I would with out the intake I notced a gain of 1.5 MPG gain.
