Back Up Camera
I'm in the process of installing a Boyo VTC430R (wireless) at this moment. My buddy is an installer. If I can't get it done, he offered to do it for me. As soon as I find the reverse wire, I'll post again.
From memory (although it was only a couple of days ago) on an '08 QC the wire for the reverse light is white with lt green on the left side of the body at the rear. Since I was actually referring to an '06 service manual, '07 is probably still the same.
Note, BTW, that this is for a wireless backup camera that I just picked up at costco. The picture of the video display looks the same, though. The only connection to video display I'm using is the 12V power adapter. I haven't decided if I'm going to hard-wire it or not.
Hard wiring is fairly easy. It'll keep you from picking up signals from wireless security cameras. You can get cables of all types from these guys: http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.aspAll sortsa cool cables, connectors, etc. I paid around $6 for the cable for my camera (bought other stuff to spread out the shipping). VR3 wanted $30.
