Default Audio Help!

So my buddy works at best buy and got me a huge deal on some infinity Kappa Speakers....we look on the computer and it says 6x9's in the front and 5 1/4's in the back...ok buy them. Today when im installing them the 6x9 are like to big to fit into the frame area....how's that work? also the 5 1/4's wholes to screw it in dont match the trucks....I have an 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab.....Do i need different speakers...Size? or what?

6x9s will fit but yeah the kappas are too big to fit in the doors of our trucks, i personally have the reference series, 5x7s in the front 5 1/4 in the rear and 3 1/2 in the dash with a jbl gto 504 pushing them. on the rear doors the factory opening in 6 1/2, but what i did was just made new holes for the 5 1/4 to mount to. Maybe try to return them and tell them they didn't fit and either get the reference or the 5x7s and you should be fine. Hope this helps.

Are the Kappas too deep? I put 6x9s in the front of mine and 6 1/2s in the back. Not super-fancy, but they fit fine except for having to drill new screw holes for the rears.
