Sputtering Noise
Alright i bought my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L about 3 weeks ago. Ive put a Volant intake on it and a Flowmaster exhaust since ive gotten it. But since ive put that on when im cruising at a steady speed i get like a sputtering noise from my truck, which sounds like its coming from the exhuast. But i took it to the people who installed it and they said it isnt leaking and its working like it should. But it doesnt sound healthy at all. Any idea on what this might be? If im speeding up or slowing down i cant hear it. Only when im going a steady constant speed. I dunno thought one of u might know before i take it to the dealer.

well i would take it back to the guy you got the stuff put on by and tell them that you want them to either fix it right or you want your money back because it does no good to have that stuff on it if you loose oerformance somewheres else. the dealer more than likely wont really mess with that because the after market parts and they always say it is the problem.
Yeah i figured it might have something to do with the MDS. So is there anyway to make it go away? Or is it just something u gotta deal with to have the flowmasters on there? Its kinda of annouying but i could get use to it
Because of the exhaust it's gonna be more noticable... with the stock muffler it really was able to muffle it out... but when you change it to be loud...it's just part of the price....just have to get used to it...
