so the 2500 hooks will bolt right up to the 1500? why the different design...? i like the closed design of the 2500 hooks over the bar that comes on the 1500.
probably so you don't destroy whatever the hooks mount to. It might be that whatever they mount to is stronger on the 3/4 and 1 ton. in either case, the 1/2 ton hooks are plenty strong. If you ever find youself in a situation where you break em, you're doing something very wrong...or maybe very right.

Thanks for the Info guys! I'm thinking if i get some, ill get the ones for the 3/4 ton and try to get them on w/o removing the bumper. I just got my vent visors today and put them on. I also orderred some custom leather seat covers like two weeks ago and then my next mod will be Tow Mirrors. Iv'e been looking in eBay and I think i can get a pair for about $200. Or I'm gonna try to get over to a pick-n-pull or somthing like that.

$130!!! $200!!! FOR FREAKIN' TOW HOOKS!!!

I think if it was me, I'd get some big honkin' generic ones from a place like Tractor Supply for like $15-$20 a piece, take the black plastic strip above the bumper out and weld them to the frame. A 110v home MIG welder welds at like 70,000 PSI strength, way more than enough to hold a tow hook under any situation you could put it through...

the tow hooks mount right up but if you wanna use the extra bracket that goes behind them on the 3/4 ton you'll haveto cut the hole that bolts to the frame a little bigger, but its easy. you can just bolt the hooks to the bumper like the 1500 stock ones are, i just like a little extra strength. my are solid too, i pulled my cousins 1 ton out of a mud hole with em. they look better than the stock ones to i think. they really come in handy when you need 'em.

I bought mine off ebay for $75 brackets, bolts and hooks brand new.
heres a few

these don't havethe brackets but you don't need 'em unless you just want 'em.

If someone's interested I have set if someone wants em of my 07. Don't really need em since the plow bracket took over. I might have 2 sets laying around.
