The easiest way that I've done it. Is to use a blow dryer to heat up the emblems and then use a fishing line to cut through the goo. Then I used a combination of odorless mineral spirits and my finger nails to get the rest of the goo off. Once all the goo is removed I used a polishing compound to get the surface clean and free of any scratches.
