i find it so weird hammer, that you have buddies that dont like the pro comps...and ive talked to about 10 people in person that absolutly love them, and a few people on here that like them and will be theyre next set of tires. i just find it strange that guys you know dont like them and i have yet to see/talk to a person that does NOT like them. and on the other hand ive spoken to a few that just dont like the terra grappler.

But almost to a man, everybody I've spoken to with Pro Comps would not ever get them again.
I've searched through many tire forums, and you wouldn't believe the range of reviews you get, not just on them, but any tire. I've read posts where guys had to ditch their Extreme A/T's after only 15k because they were bald (I know a kid used to work with me, who had a set of 33" on his Wrangler and at 18k they were 90% bald), then the very next post, the guy says he's got 60k on them and they still got plenty of tread. So I don't know.
I just know, for me personally, I've been using Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek tires for the last 15 years or so, and have NEVER had a tire issue and they all have worn like iron. And for all the time I lived in Ga., I played very hard with my trucks/Jeeps...

RE: Nitto Terra Grappler??
My opinion, no on the terra grapplers. They are awesome on dry surfaces, but put em in snow and they are horrible. I had a set for about 3 months and had to get rid of em in the winter because of traction and handling issues. I have only known in person a couple of people to own them and rated them bad. If you want a/t my picks are pro-comp xtreme a/t, or even the toyo a/t seem to do pretty good around here.

damn bad *** rt....if those were 35's id be calling you right now haha.....but if the price is right i may settle for a 33. how much do you want? and please say make me a reasonable offer because i have no idea haha. if not, then the 35x12.5R20 pro comps get closer and closer each day.

RE: Nitto Terra Grappler??
I have 35x12.5x20 Cooper STTs and they work great for me. Good in the mud and quiet on the street. I've had then for 16,000 mile so far and the wear has been good as well. I have them on the IFS and went with a 1/4" spacer to get them to not rub. I had them for over a year before I put the spacer on and it only rubs on the upper part of the arm. Only feel it when you are doing a hard turn. I got the spacers just to make me feel a little better about it but I wouldn't say it was 100% neccessary.

Well i dont think with the independant front suspension i can clear a 12.5 wide tire.... thats why my choices are limited...
