I cleared with no problem at all, evenon tight turns and heavy off-roading. But, my '04 has a torsion bar setup where your '06 is coil-overs. So, it's not exactly apples to apples. I know a lot of guys run 33x12.5's on newer Dodges, maybe we can get one or two to chime in on this...
With the 33x12.5's you could have your pick of just about ANY all-terrain tire on the planet.
The Mickey Thompson ATZ's, Toyo Open Country, BFG A/T or Coopers STT's would all be solid choices, or for a little more aggressive tread, the Dick Cepek Fun Country II's that I have are really a super tire. All the good on-pavement handling and long wear of an A/T tire with big side blocks and side biters of an M/T tire...

I have heard nothing but bad things about the ProComps (longevity, look, etc) They are always on sale here in Texas for buy 3 get the 4th free. I personally do not like the look of the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T, if I were in the market for the A/T's I would spend the extra cash and go with the BF Goodrich A/T without a doubt.

Just got an email back from a huntin' & ATV buddy whose family owns a tire store in my old hometown. (The place where I've bought my last four sets of tires and two sets of wheels) He says that 12.5" tires are not an issue for '06+ Dodge 1500's unless you have a wheel with no offset, like the stock wheels. If you go to any decent aftermarket wheel with a nice 4.5" backspace, -12mm offset, you'd have no problem...

Now why didn't you get on his *** about bashing those tires? I say that I got a number of friends who had them and would never get them again and you get all over my sh*t, but anybody else, and nothing!!!

BTW - 4 Wheel Parts has them buy 3 get 1 almost every other month...

Im in the market for some new tires.. Im goin one size taller than my stock size tires in the 20".. That doesnt leave me but with 2 options, eithrer the Nitto's or Goodyear Wrangler ATS... I have read a lot of reviews on both tires and people say about the same on both tires... Is anyone runnin either of theses tires or have advice on either???

Stock = 275/60/20
Wanting = 275/65/20
will the new size that you want fit on the truck stock or are you going to need a leveling kit?

Best price I could find new for the Toyo Open Country MT's 33x12.5x20 was $1296.00 plus shipping. I will sell mine with 1200 miles on them for $800.00 and i'll also include the wheel spacers. The tires still look brand new. I'm located in Pennsylvania.
