Im in the market for some new tires.. Im goin one size taller than my stock size tires in the 20".. That doesnt leave me but with 2 options, eithrer the Nitto's or Goodyear Wrangler ATS... I have read a lot of reviews on both tires and people say about the same on both tires... Is anyone runnin either of theses tires or have advice on either???

Stock = 275/60/20
Wanting = 275/65/20

 

I have the nitto's in 295/17 and just love them. They are great in the snow and also on wet roads. So far I have about 6000 miles on them and they still look like new. They also have low road noise.

dont know about goodyear, but the nitto i have heard very mixed reviews...from low road noise, good longevity to be able to feel a pebble in the road and not riding very good. from what i hear, it seems to be a love or hate tire, no medium. I for one am going with pro comp xtreme a/t's but you said those 2 tires are your only option

 

My buddy has the Nitto Terra Grappler, and they are great....They look better than the goodyears, are actually just as loud as my goodyears, and still look brand new. Those Nitto Dune Grapplers are the best looking tire out there, thats what im getting next. But the Nittos, no doubt

I know a couple of guys with the Terra Grapplers. No one has complained (unlike my buddies who bought Pro Comp A/T's) They are good on pavement, OK in mild off-road use and don't share the noise and rapid wear qualities that the Nitto Mud Grapplers have...

 

i find it so weird hammer, that you have buddies that dont like the pro comps...and ive talked to about 10 people in person that absolutly love them, and a few people on here that like them and will be theyre next set of tires. i just find it strange that guys you know dont like them and i have yet to see/talk to a person that does NOT like them. and on the other hand ive spoken to a few that just dont like the terra grappler.

 

I have the Nittos also and love them. I like them much better than the BFG's I had previously. Like Hawk was saying there very goodin the rain and snow. Price is alot cheaper too.
