so i got my ram 1500 off and scrapped off alot of the tape left on there but the bottom layer wont come off tried goo gone with a rag tried wd40 and i dont really have a hairdryer available seeing as how i only have 3 brothers and no sisters

If you can get a hold of a hair dryer that would be great, it really loosens up the tape. Try odorless mineral spirits, I used this to get off the remaining adhesive and then I followed with some turtle wax polishing compound. Try that hopefully it works out for you.

when you had it heated up did you just whipe it off with a cloth?

so heat it up and then eraser wheel or can i just use the eraser wheel

From what I've read, just the eraser wheel.I have one, but I haven't used it yet. Maybe this weekend after my new badges come in. I have the fishing line all ready to go.

You can't really just whipe it off. I had to use my fingers to pick it off, but the blow dryer made it a hell of a lot easier.

alright i guess ill be buying a hairdryer, i was wondering if i should leave it debadged or paint them black to match my truck and put them back on any thoughts on that

be careful not to burn through your paint with that wheel.

i used 3m adhesive remover and a plastic body filler knife with plenty of rags.
