Default Greasing front drveshaft ?

It says in the owners manual to grease the front drveshaft at every oil change. I looked and looked and can not find a grease fitting on it anywhere. All I see is these little holes about the size of pencil lead with plastic nipples sticking out of them. It is an 08' PowerWagon. Any help would be great. I have mostly seviced my own vehicles for 30 years and I am stumped.

my 06 2500 has a decal stating the same thing, but My front drive shaft also dosent have a grease fitting, or neadel valve, I have seen some 2500 drive shafts that have a neadel fitting and need to be greased.

My mechanic and I put my truck on a hoist, lifted up the front wheals and turned the drive shaft by hand, no fitting, my U joints are factery sealed..

No neadel valve, or grease fitting, you can't grease it.

I have the fitting on the front u-joint of the double u-joint before the transfer case. It is one of those shallow, small, ball bearing type. It's a little difficult to get at, even with the special, thin grease tube. I had to remove my skid plate which helped a little.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the 2500's don't have the fitting at all though. The axle shaft joints are ungreasable as are the driveshaft joints.

It is there on the PW. I lift the driver front tire with a jack so I can spin the tire, which spins the drive shaft. You won't see it without a flashlight, and yeah you need a needle grease adapter to grease it.

Also, do a search in the diesel section.
Edit, found in FAQ on diesel page
