Default CAI and Crankcase Venting?

Vent tube running from near oil fill area went to stock airbox. Just installed the S&B CAI and no place for the vent tube and the instructions are silent.

Also waiting to see what S&B says on a call back.

you will want to plug the hole somehow as this goes directly into your engine. an actual plug will not allow it to vent, so you will probably want one of those small filters. i dont know the exact name of them, but they are about 1.5-2" diameter and they just go into the hole.

Turns out Moes performance had the wrong part listed for my truck.

S&B told me how to retrofit the unit I have to properly duct the vent into the the intake tube using a 90 degree hose mender elbow and a grommet. I have todrill a holeinto the tube for the grommet. The tube has a drill point already to mark the location of the hole.

Thanks guys. I did plug the vent tube temporarily till I get this mod completed later today.
