My 3.7 has been in the shop #1 for a bad A/C air deverter door in the dash broke that was fixed in 3 hours #2 I had a rattle in the motor from day one I purchased this truck new and every time it went in to the dealer they never could find the noise but this time it made the noise the mechanic was also puzzled about the noise or the rattle.
They keep the truck over night it ended up beening a warped exhaust manafold they had to order one they will fix it next week.
I have 3000 miles left on the warranty sure glad they found the rattle noise this manafold would of cost some big bucks to replace.
So if you'r truck has a cold start rattle get it looked at it could be you manafold.

yep.. my truck had to have the box replaced because one of the door hinges busted leaving the door to vibrate. Also the air coming out of the vents was not as cold as it should have been (i.e. outside air mixing due to doors not config properly.) In my 8 months plus on this website, this broken door is a common problem with the 2006 rams.
