2002 Dodge 1500 4WD with 5.9l motor. At what speed does the transmission generally shift to 4th and overdrive? Mine at about 2,000 rpms shifts at around 40 - 45 mph. 2nd and 3rd seems to be good, but it acts like it takes to long to shift to 4th. I know the harder you get on it the longer it draws out to shift to 4th. I am talking normal driving not street racing.
