throttle body spacer.....
lol ****zz!!! i read other reviews on this similar topic and it doesnt look like the tbs was a good purchase lol i can put up with the whistle, but with what air ram is saying , if its gonna hurt my performance i may as well just take the damn thing off and yes i do have a pile of papers. the weird thing is instead it performing all the things it says, i noticed that i kinda accerlerates a little slower when your gradually driving..not good.
by the way yall, this is off this topic, what is the significance of a electric fan? i will have to send the tbs back and maybe get one of these instead?

the stock fan clutch works off of the belt so that in turn requires energy aka HP/Torque to turn the fan.... so an efan frees up that lil bit of energy so your TC can lose that much more hahaha...
they say it can free up to 20 hp... but the main thing is it will draw in more air at idle and be pretty much the same at highway speed, helps if you drive up mountains or tow.... also you can set an on off switch, good for winter time driving so itll let your engine get up to temp quicker.... seeing that we cant mod our trucks to do a high idle like the cummins can...
+1
An efan is a great mod, besides getting rid of the parasitic clutch fan you will eliminate any overheating issues in stop & go traffic and crawling off road as you are not relying on engine rpm for fan speed. My Flex-A-Lite 180 Extreme moves 3300 cfm of air across my radiator even when sitting still.
Another benefit of a manual on/off switch is that you can kill the fan in deep mud or water crossings so as not to suck gunk into the radiator...

i see ......another question about the efan.....does the dodge come equipped with a electrical harness or does it have to be wired in somehow, 2) will it some how mount to the frame, and we take out the existing fan completely? sounds like an electric fan is the way to go. what brand sells the best one ? and ya when im at idle , my truck loves to heat up so this will def. help it sounds like
If you purchase the Flex-A-Lite, it mounts directly into the existing shroud. I comes with a small thermostat control box to mount somewhere and power must be wired to the fusebox. Directions arevery good, although not vehicle specific. Very easy install, it'll take you longer to get the clutch fan out than to install and wire the e-fan...
thanks for that reply, also i just talked to a mechanic about doing the job and he says he does not recommend e fans because they only turn on at a high tempp.... what are your guys experience with this? also he says the something electrically goes wrong with the fan your **** out of luck and says that its a good possibility that something could with those , what do you think? he also wondering if you have to just the computer in anyway i guess?lol im holding back to buy this until i get good thumbs up lol cause the throttle bbody spacer was not so good of a purchase as it turns out.
