Default NERF BAR HELP

Ok so I have been looking now for about 3 months for the right nerf bar. With so many on the market I cant decide which brand to go with. I need a Nerf bar thats going to stand up to harsh winters where the roads are flooded with road salt to salty air from the coast. Can anyone help me out with this. I about to go crazy. So far NASTA brand is looking good. Nerf bars will be going on my 08 1500 quad cab 5.7L dont want wheel to wheel.

I personally got a set of bully brand black bars. They claim 2 year warrenty against rust, and their stainless are lifetime. I paid like 168.00 shipped to my door from ebay and if i remember right, the stainless were maybe 100 more.

I too was looking for a while trying to find the best bars for the money. I ended up going with the factory Mopar bars which are chromed aluminum. I like the way they look with theRam logo on the step pads, and they're supposed to be really easy to mount. I haven't mounted them yet, the're still in boxes in my garage. Got them off ebay shipped to my door about $100.00 less than I could get at my local dealership.

that's what I have except its the lonestar edition badging, but man why do you want bars on it. Its not too high. I put mine up on a jack and put it to 5" of lift and I still wouldn't put bars on em.
Now what I do like are the redneck single steps.

As far as I'm concerned there is only one brand - Westin.
I've had three sets on different trucks: one black and two chrome (they now make stainless steel too) and have NEVER had an issue.
I've had two other sets: one black and one chrome. The cheaper black ones (a "name brand")
started rusting by the second year and I lost a plastic step on the road somewhere. The chrome set (no-name ebay set) started pitting almost from day one.
Only Westins for me from now on...

LOL yeah at least its a 4x4, I really hate seeing 4x2s with steps, makes no sense, I mean do they have issues walking up stairs?

But like I said the only style I like are the single steps.

I have had Westin Platinum on last 2 trucks, no issues but mounting brackets rusting. I just baought Nasta from truckaddons.com for $309 to the door(they beat ultimateautoaccessories.com's price). They have stainless hardware.Went together well and quick, I will keep everyone updated on quality. I put Bully blacks on my Tahoe, rusted in less tham a year.
