well just to reassure me about the pro compsi called 3 different tire shops from around the country and the guys that had them loved them. one guy did say that he did see a set go out in like 26k miles but they wern't taken care of, smoked tires, not rotated all that type of stuff....i told him that i drive normally and would rotate them about every 2k miles...he said you can easilly get 35 out of them which is all im looking for....he said he had 29k and they were about 1/2 worn.

Are you really going to rotate your tires every 2,000 miles? I usually rotate them every other oil change, about 7-8000 miles.

I have always done them at every 2nd oil change (6k miles), recently went to Royal Purple in both my vehicles and I'm going to see what it looks like at 6k instead of changing oil every 3k. So I guys I'm gonna get in the habit of rotating at every oil change...[&:]

I have the pro comp xtreme a/t's and love them. I have about 12k on them and they still look brand new. Went to a mud run this weekend and they did excellent in the mud pits they even clean out nice!

between that and 3500 miles . thats just how i am, but only problem is since the pro comp xtreme a/t is a directional tire i can only move the fronts to the rear and vice versa...cant move them in a circular mtion unless i want to pay to mount and balance again

I am running a set of 265/70 BFG a/t's that are the 10-ply and it will be the last set I ever run. They ride hard to me and bounce on cold mornings. I had a set of Mastercraft M/Ts on my '95 Ram and that is what I am going back with after these. The BFGs are just like what Hammer said decent at about everything but great at nothing. They don't bite hard enough for me while I am pulling trailers out of a wet field but that is just how I use my truck.
