Default Superchips 3815 and MDS

How many are having issues with the SC 3815 and your MDS on the Hemi's??
Any issues kicking in or out?

Seems a little bit rougher, other than that it works fine for me.

I took my Superchips back after a weekend of trying it out. I noticed the MDS would kick in and out a lot on flat road, and it seemed worse at 60-65 than it did at 75. I drove across Alligator Ally here in FL with it installed, and the constant kicking in and out just kept bugging me. I probably wouldn't notice it so much if I were driving on different terrain, but you can't get any flatter or straighter roads than when you drive across the Everglades. Even with the cruise control on, it was enough to keep making my head bob every time it kicked it in and out. I've been hoping Edge would come out with a tuner for the '08, but so far not yet.

I get that too sometimes mainly around 45mph. You feel it and hear it through the intake. And when it gets old I just put it in tow/haul mode and it turnes off the MDS. The tow/haul mode is nice because it still goes into overdrive above 50mph and it's just alittle lower geared than in regular mode plus you dont have MDS going on and off. Hope this helps.

Other than the fact that my Magnaflow sounds strange when it's kicked in, I don't have a problem with the MDS; it's how the Superchips affects it that is the pain in the ***. I can't understand why they haven't fixed an obvious issue with the programmer. If I'm on a straight, level road, with the cruise control set, what kind of signal is it sending to make the truck drop in and out of MDS? It doesn't make sense to me; if the truck drops into OD and the MDS kicks in, you would think that it would stay that way until you apply more load on the motor, either by trying to speed up or going uphill. The whole issue probably offends my sense of propriety more than anything else.

MDS shifting is horrible with the Superchips... I had it for about 2 months and finally sold it. I couldn't take the CONSTANT MDS shifting in and out, not to mention it made it to where you could FEEL the MDS shifting, pretty hard. I was having passengers ask me what was wrong with my truck. Unfortunantly, the issue is there with Edge tuners as well, just not as bad...
