I would side with those saying pick up a cheap daily driver. You will miss the truck if you get rid of it. You probably wont get the money out of it that you have put into the mods. My 07 QC 4x4 with MDS gets around 14-15 in the city and 20 on the highway (havent checked it yet with the current mods). A buddy of mine has a 2005 Tacoma TRD offroad with the 4.0L and a 6 speed, and he only gets 1mpg better than me (in a smaller truck). My neighbor has a 2008 Mazda B4000 4X4 (Ranger) and he cant believe how bad it is on gas (he wont tell me actually, so i assume its close to mine). Remember any truck gets crappy mileage.
Pick up an old Civic.

Okay, I'm basied towards real trucks, ie a full 8 ft box, any thing else is a waste of space, a short box hemi will handel like a wet turd due to the short wheal base, only advantage would be drag racing due to less truck, than your spending the same on flue andlose the abilty to move cargo and people.

Ipull 20+ mpg high way in a reg cab 06 25004wd with the hemi and 6sp, but that's at a snail stuck in maple syruip speed of 60 mph...
I hate long beds...they make the whole truck look like ***. If I need more room i'll hook up a trailer...or put in one of those bed extender cage thingies.

I do agree short box trucks look cool, Dodge should make a step side version ( little red truck ) But add the cost of a trailer, and looking good gets to be expensive, I need the 8 foot box for work, so what works for me, is what works for me, what works for you is what works for you .

That's a shame that you can't keep her and buy something else. I know you will miss her. Good luck.

I don't believe you've got that thing up for sale. You, who loved that thing so much, was posting at the rate of like 50 posts a day, couldn't stop talking about mods for it. Wouldn't rest until they made you a moderator here! AND NOW YOU ARE SELLING IT! Must be a chick involved somewhere, gotta be!!![8D]

The sad thing is that for the $16,000 your selling it for someone could go buy a new one with better mileage. You probably wont see more than $12-13k for it if that.

Average trade on it is $12,500, most banks won't finance more than the avg. trade amount. It's a bad time to try to sell a truck, especially a 3/4 ton 4x4, me thinks the kid is gonna lose his a$$...

i still think im the one in the most disbelief... i have a guy interested in it trying to see it on monday... its low miles and a 2500... so that is why its a lil higher in price than ya'll are used to seeing... and compared to some of the other trucks i have seen on autotrader thats a good deal...
