RedRam, it looks exactly like the DIY! Excellent job! I put installing mine off for a while because of the wedding. Whenever I measure, they're always about 1/8" off. I think it's just because of the tape measure I used...it's really stiff. I'd like to get one of those tape measures they used to size me for my Tux, really soft and flexible.

guys please help. i havent got my cab lights in the mail yet, but theyll be here sometime this week. so i was in the truck tering my dash apart trying to find that stupid pigtail already made for the cab roof lights, but mines not there where its suppose to be in the a pillar. i tried looking for it and i dont even know if its there or not. so i gave up and decided to find another power source. i just wanted to know if it would be safe or not to tap into my headlight running light...the orange bulb. if this is not a good idea, can someone tell me how else i could get a power and ground source.

Your Wedding?? Congrats Man!!

Thanks For The Compliments - Don't Forget Yours In The Late Model 3rd Gen And Mines The Early Edition - So Things May Be A Slight Bit Different - Either Way Just Add 1/16 On Each Side And It Will Get You Centered. I Hear Ya With The Flexable Tape Measures.. Any Fabric Store Will Have Them, Or Just Steal It When The Guys Not Lookin'!

mm - Your Amber Running Lamps? Yes Thats Fine But I Would Highly Encourage A Relay, Better To Over Do It - Than Be Sorry Later.

so if i run it to a relay, im just gonna run a wire and wrap it around my running light relay, #73. and then put the ground wire somewhere on the chasis, like i did my amp? do you happen to know what prong is my power on the relay? theres numbers underneath it but i dont know what they mean
