I gotta agree with what the others are saying....clay it. It will also get all the other crap out of the paint and make the thing look so much nicer than just a regular wash will....it also makes the paint really smooth!

Ok, time for an update. I washed the truck today, then clayed the entirething, then washed it, then put a good coat of wax on. The clay helped alot, but did not remove everything. I had to work it pretty hard, but it looks alot better than it did before. I used a Meguires clay kit and their Gold Series liquid wax. I must say that this is the best wax I've ever used so I definetly recommend it. Last time I used their TechWax, which wasn't bad butwas harder to buff off andlooked a littlestreaky. I do wish the clay bar had been a little more aggressive. I might try something else next time. All in all though, a very successful outing and the truck is looking beautiful as I write this. Thanks again to all who offered advice!

Yeah, I too used the Meguires clay kit. It is good for what it is but if you really want to get the thing clean you might want to try some of their "professional" clay.

I am not sure if this site has the best prices but they really do explain what everything is and how to properly use it...

The liquid claybar ICE does work pretty nice.
