The car/truck industry is not unlike any other. They are taking a bad situation an spinning it in their favor. Anyone ever notice that gas companies claim it takes six to eight weeks for the "trickle down effect" to get to the consumer when oil prices drop, but you'll see all the gas station prices go up within hours after an increase. HMMMM....

Yeah gas prices are rediculous. They know exactly what they are doing and everyone uses their car so gas is a good place to hit you strong.

I just traded my 04 Ram 1500 QC Hemi 2 weeks ago and it had 81,000 miles on it and was pretty dinged up. I used it as a work truck and they gave me $6000.00 trade in. I don't know where u live, but that's what I got in Tomball, TX.

Makes me happy about my recent trade. I traded in my '05 QC Hemi 4x4 SLT. I had a bunch of places offer me $13k for it, but I finally ended up at Big O' Dodge, here in Greenville, and they gave me $18k. Also got $10K off the purchase of my '08 QC Hemi. Couldn't pass it up.

That's REAL good, adamwade. Heck, dealers around Detroit won't give me $18K for my Power Wagon, not that I'mlooking to get rid of it anyway.

That's not good, that's amazing because the Friday paper here has a big "Cars" pull out section every week: reviews, dealer ads & classifieds. I'm looking at it now and one dealer alone has two used 2007 Hemi 4x4's in it, one with 20k on it for $17,995 and the other with 3k on it for $18,995!!!
