daytona spoiler removal

Default daytona spoiler removal

does anybody know how the spoiler come off? I wanna put my quad in the back instead of taking the trailer. I tried for a half an hour yesterday and I cannot see how it comes off. I only found 2 bolts at the front. I cant see anything at the back

Oh, yea and to answer your question, I don't know the proper way to remove it, but you can always use "Universal Tools" #1 & #3:

I'll have to take some better pics of it. its still covered in mud from last weekend I'll wash it and shine her all up.

I bet the back is just clips like the tail light. try opening those screws and just pulling up on it. if it's bolted in the back also, you ain't gonna budge it, so you'll find out pretty quick.

I am pretty sure that you have to take out the tail lights to get to the back 2 nuts.....

well I got it off. you take the front 2 bolts out and slide the spoiler back and then lift it off. but dont forget to take off the 2 straps first and it comes right off........ it looks sooo naked now

i like how it looks, but very un-useful and gets in the way of a lot of stuff.

Cool. I was wondering that myself. I know there'll be a day I need to use the truck as a truck.

Boy, it would have been nice if you took a couple of pics during removal and done a "DIY" for the guys with them. I know the "DIY" moderator would have appreciated it...
