well...if you had bigger rims that weighed the same...cool. it WOULD be a better thing cause the tire will be lighter.

when i switched to my 20s from my stock 17s with stock tires, the 20s were considerably lighter

Ha ha, I agree %100 with you man! Screw the powerwire. The only differance you'll notice is the gas consumption. screw it. ha

yea i took my truck to the track yesturday, i got 17.437 the first run and beat a mustang, second run my friend drove so he got a 17.996, but my last run when i took the tailgate off i ran 17.196 and none of it was in tow mode, i just put a k and n filter in it.

what kind of mustang ran slower than 17.43? the 2.7L charger rental that we had ran in the 17.20s...

do you have a bed cover? its been proven that taking the tailgate off the truck actually hurts your aerodynamics, and while its good to strip weight, that weight helps with traction since its applied more to the drive wheels. i would think that you going from 17.43 to 17.19 would have more to do with a change in the conditions, or a better launch. if you posted your full timeslips, i could give more insight.

i dunno...but watch this vid. it's me somehow beating a v6 stang.

ended paired with him multiple times. and at byrons i kept tearing apart a last gen 5.9 rt. that was awesome. i shouldn't have beaten him as many times as i did...but i did by a lot...but his truck apparently wasnt maintained as well as he thought.
