all in all, it was an awesome day. i was happy to be crossing the finish slightly quicker than a slightly modded 5.9. he thought i had the 4.7. it was sweet. when i told him i had 3.7, he was slightly astonished, and i dont' think believed me at first...until we went back into staging, and i opened hood and hurried up to throw my power wire in, and he came to look. also, i believe i may have brought a contributing member to the forum, if he actually signs on and checks us out.

That's awesome man. At least there is some potential in these 3.7L's.

surprisingly enough...yea, there is a bit of potential. the thing is, it will take a little more than bolt ons...which is awesome. i need tog et these damn headers from air ram...but i want a 75shot wet shot. everyone says it's completely safe, and will shave a whole second off your quarter mile...and in my case, since it's so high, maybe a bit more than a second.

those are pretty good times for a 3.7 wonder why his truck was soo slow though. he should be atleast in the 16's

I'm hoping to take mine down the track atleast once this summer. I have no clue at all what i'll run. it will be nice to find out.

I want to get a bit more performance out of mine but I got so much going on right now. I want to get a bike so I have to save for that, I want to go to the forum meet in Michigan in July, and I want to mod my truck. So many things, and I am so tight on money right now. Sucks. Hey do those headers you have fit a Dakota too?

Nice to see someone with a 3.7 beat a V8. Powerwire didn't seem to make much of a difference as you had faster and slower runs with it.

amkes no difference at all. BUT, with my gears, i DEFINITELY notice a higher gas consumption. like, the gas guage not moving at all on my usual 45 mile drive to crystal lake, to it moving a little more than an 1/8th. screw that thing..lol

I haven't taken mine off to check my mileage without it lately but I know that on a long distance trip I was getting 13 mpg highway with the powerwire in. Took it out once I realized thisand got 18 the rest of the way and 21 on the way back home. I drive 90% city so I don't take it out much. I might do a test this week.

Do you think the powerwire doesn't help because of your other mods? It feels like mine is stronger with it but that maybe because if you take it out the truck is used to it being in and takes a bit to adjust.

dont why i dont know this but just wonderin if bigger rims would be better on the track if they weighed the same as smaller rims.i know that bigger rims usually weigh more and that will slow u down but if they weighed the same, would u have an advantage with for example 20s over 17s with overall wheel size same? larger?
