I get mid-12's in the city, mid 17's driving 65. Honestly, if gas milage is going to be an issue, don't get a big truck. Gas isn't going to get cheaper, and it might get a LOT more expensive still. Prices will stop going up when people stop buying so much, but we aren't there yet. Of course, if you NEED to get a truck, I imagine it's a buyers market right now.

The "20's" you want will hurt you in the mpg dept. Most report about a 1.5-2 mpg increase when switching their 20's for 17's, which is getting mentioned a lot more now that gas is about at the $4 mark.

04 (No MDS) QCSB4x4hemi w/ 20"s 50/50 light foot driving with periodic 20 foot tire marks, pegged at 62-65 on the highway, 15.6 +/- .2 mpg every tank. in just highway, I'll get over 19 at 65, over 20 at 55.

Do a search, the 20" wheels weigh a lot more. Was a guy not a day or two ago posted that he swapped his 20's with someone for their 17's and even though they had a lot more aggressive tread, first thing he noticed was a mpg increase.
I don't know for sure if Chrysler does it, but I know F**D lists a 1 mpg difference (worse) right on the sticker with the larger wheel options.
I used to fish a lot of competitve bass tourney's before my parents got ill, I've since sold the bass boat, but remain on a couple of related forums. That's the biggie subject right now with the price of gas and these guys trailering boats all over.
It's a given that 20's handle better on pavement when towing, but they ALL are seeing better mileage when using 17" wheels. So it's become a big debate with trailer pullers now...

I have an 07 with oversize tires. According to the overhead computer, I am getting around 10.5 in the city and around 12.5 on the hiway. With MDS on. Not very good, but I didn't buy it for it's mpg. By the way, I use 89 octane around $4.17 here.
