Just came back from camping at Letchworth St. Park. First towing while loaded. Very happy with the way the 6-speed improved towing our 30' Toyhauler. We got way better gas mileage with the 6-speed vs the 545rfe in our 04'. 10.5 vs 6-8. The suspension is a little soft but once the weight distrbution bars are on it levels out fine. For the all around ability of this truck, it is a small price to pay. I figure it weighed about 9500lbs. It is no speed demon on the big hills but it does'nt scream in one gear and lug in the next like our old one unless you want it to.You can keep it around 3000-3500rpm. I am very happy with the manual 6-speed, for those of you who can't decide between auto or manual.
