NEED SUGGESTIONS
Just put on a super 40 series flowmaster single in duel out. I lost some back pressure and some power. Besides changing the muffler to aHD 50 series flowmaster which ismade for the hemi. What else can I do to get back pressure back? I also put on a complete C.A.I from air-raid on.
Give it a little time, or manually reset your PCM. I have a CAI, Cat-back with FM50HD. When I installed LT Headers, I felt a pretty significant loss of low end torque. So much so, that I abandoned my plans on installing non-foulers and actually went under, cut & welded the cats back in hoping to get a little back-pressure into the system. It didn't help much and I figured I'd have to live with it for a while. My plans were/are to install a KRC 210 cam with a custom grind for huge added torque, so I figured I'd just have to try to save a little harder and do the cam as soon as possible.
Ran the issue past the guru's at KRC and they suggested I reset the PCM (or just wait a few hundred miles to let the PCM adjust to the sensors picking up better air flow). Sure enough, after resetting the PCM, I had most of my original low end back. Plus the gainsfrom the headers from about 2500 rpm and up is down right amazing. Along with my 4.56 gears it's my best mod to date! I still plan on doing the cam, but my finances took a pretty good hit within the last few months, so it's on hold for a while. In the mean time, my low end is pretty close to where it was before...

The super 40 wasn't designed for the Hemi unless you go with true duals. The 50HD was however designed for the Hemi and you still lose a little back pressure. If you bought the exhaust from a knowledgeable FM dealer, they should have told you this.
I should have realized this question was gonna come up sooner or later.
Pull the negative off the battery, pull fuse #23 (I think it's 23, it's after midnight and I'm tired, but it's labeled). Turn the ignition to start, you'll hear 2 dings -- done!!!

Yes they did tell me about it. But I was being cheap and didnt want to spend the extra 70 bucks for the HD 50 series muffler. My fault. I will reset the pcm thanks hammerz71. I am liking that krc 210 cam. Whats the price tag on the cam ?

399. though it seems the hemi 6.1L cam does similar, and that's on ebay for $140!! under 200 with the springs. hmm, that might be the next step.

I know quite a few guys who went to the 6.1 cam and were unhappy with the low end losses and ended up changing it out. There was a performance shop somewhere in the midwest, had used ones for sale for $75 not long ago, because of the truck guys who went to them swapping them out. The 6.1 isa very good mod if you have a reg. cab 4x2 or maybe even a qc 4x2 and you want to go to the track. It is not however, a very good upgrade for a heavy truck or a 4x4, especially if you tow. For a heavier truck, you would want a higher torque cam, such as the KRC 210 or a slightly less aggressive, more PCM friendly Comp 260...
I'm not trying to bust your cookies xfee, but the guy ALREADY has low end issues, and you are suggesting he look into a cam because it is simply cheaper, that if he did so, would only add to his low end issues after spending his hard earned money. These cams don't cost much, but the labor to install them is quite high. That's what's holding me up (besides the fact that to do the cam, with the grind I want, I'd need not only springs, retainers, etc. but also an SCT programmer with a custom tune to tame that cam) I've never swapped one, and am not sure I want to guinea pig my $30k truck for my first try...
