adjustable pedals

I just installed adjustable power pedals in my 2007 SLT Ram 2500 diesel automatic. All the wiring connectors were their one for the switch the other for the motor basiclly plug and play so I thought. Do the 2007 can bus models need to be turned on with starscan at the dealer or did I miss something. Appreciate any help
