Hi. I've 2004 Dodge RAM 1500. I'd like to know when it's on and off.
I'm thinking to re-programm it that it works from 0-1500 RPM then it goes to off mode and goes on from 3000 RPM and up and stays on.
So should i do it or not?
Like the others said, you don't have it. Even if you had a 06+ with MDS the programming doesn't work like that...it goes by throttle position, engine load, etc. to determine when to engage/disengage. I've had mine kick on just cruising in parking lots or in residential areas...so it's tuned pretty aggressively to engage.

Also having it engage at 3000rpm is the opposite of what it does, being at 3000rpm+ is a good amount of throttle and load on the engine...you want all 8 firing for that.

If you don’t mind I would sure appreciate some info on how to connect a light to the MDS.
You can e-mail me at Jimbo3396@yahoo.comif you’re not going to post it. But I’m sure there are others that would like to know as well.

Thanks.
I'll do it as a "DIY", I've been trying to get on that damn, grouchy a$$ DIY Moderator's good side for a while now anyway. I hate that scarcastic, grumpy SOB, but please, don't anybody tell him I said that.
I've gotten a few PM's about it, so I might as well type it once and stick it there. I've got a busy day tomorrow, but will have it up by Saturday...

okay, back on topic. now i'm curious, anyone know if there is any way to program the mds on engines that have it? yea it takes into account load and speed and such, but someone's gotta be trying to crack when it comes on.
